Four years since our last show in New Zealand, and after exhibiting in Tokyo (2014) and New York (2015), Paper Pirates returns to both Auckland and Wellington this December.
We’re back baby, and we’re going on tour!
If you are new to Paper Pirates, here’s how it works:
Shoot. Print. Send. Steal.
1. You, yes you, sitting in your chair anywhere in the world, submit up to four of your favourite photographs — either digitally or physically.
Digital submission: Upload high res versions of your photographs here.
Physical submission: Print your photographs on like, actual paper, shitty or nice quality, A3 size or larger and post them (2 versions of each for the 2 shows) to:
Auckland show —
12 Alanbrooke Cres,
Wellington show —
35 Ghuznee Street
Note: Submissions close December 8th, 2017
2. We collect all the photographs, plaster them to the wall in two amazing spaces, then everyone comes along to check them out, drink some free Tiger Beer, and at the end of the night, when the beer runs out, steal the photographs off the wall to keep, for free, forever.
3. After party.
While the genesis of Paper Pirates is, uh, paper, we are excited about our new digital submission option made possible by this recent internetting technology. However we are still a little righteous and curmudgeonly and we really love receiving photos in the mail, so if you are leaning on the side of physical submission, keep leaning! We appreciate the extra time and effort. Got questions? See our FAQ.
Welcome back to Paper Pirates.
